Inter-House Elocution Competition06-May-2022

Unison World School held an Inter-House Elocution Competition for classes VI -VIII on 6th May 2022. The musical and rhythmic words of poetry captivated the audience, who were enthralled by the beauty of thoughts, feelings, expressions, and rhythmic synchronization. Each House was assigned a ballad to recite in group. The ballads assigned to each House were 'The Ballad of Father Gilligan' by William Butler Yeats, 'Ballad of the Goodly Fere' by Ezra Pound, 'La Belle Dame sans Merci' by John Keats, and 'The Tale of Custard the Dragon' by Ogden Nash. All the houses were judged based on voice modulation and articulation, dramatic appropriateness, evidence of understanding, and overall performance. Daffodil House secured first place, followed by Jasmine House as the first runner up and Tulip House as the second runner up. The audience applauded and complimented the position holders.
