A FLORAL TRIBUTE TO OUR FOUNDER FATHER22-Sep-2020

On the 22nd of September, 2020, the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of our visionary Founder Chairman Late Shri Naveen Agarwal Ji, was solemnized by prayers, followed by a floral tribute offered in the morning by the Principal and entire staff of Unison World School, Dehradun. Sri Naveen Agarwal Ji, our founder father, was born in a middle class family on the 22nd September 1951 and left for his heavenly abode on 23rd February, 2009. He was a great visionary with tremendous personal charisma. He possessed profound wisdom and nobility coupled with humility, qualities that have always stood the tests of time. He has sired a lineage that only responds to claims of loyalty for a tradition of education that inspires and empowers all. He authorized path breaking innovations in the history of technical education in Uttarakhand. Sri Naveen Agarwal Ji stands tall amongst the hills of his hometown Dehradun. He was a living testimony of what an ordinary citizen fuelled by enterprise and driven by determination can achieve in his life time. True men like him are rare. They come gifted with the power and vision to change the destiny of people, to alter the course of academic history of generations to come. The students of Unison World School do their best in upholding the vision of our Founder Chairman by the continuous process of community service. On this day too, the staff and staff wards visited a nearby Anganwadi school and created a meaningful impact on the community by creatively painting the classroom walls to benefit the young learners. The staff also held a Tie and Dye workshop through the Zoom platform with the organization of ‘Devbhumi Janseva and Sadbhawna Samiti’, Kandikhal, Tihiri, Garwal. This organization helps the educated unemployed women of the mountains to apprise themselves with the village industry and also to motivate them for self-employment. Over two consecutive sessions the participants were taught the process of tie & dye and a discussion ensued on how they can sell these products in the market. Suggestions like making tie & dye dresses, scarves, bed sheets, pouches etcetera were put forward as people love to buy tie & dye stuff. A visual demonstration on dyeing techniques was displayed Sri Naveen Agarwal Ji is a legend, who will never die. His spirit will live forever.
