Children’s Day Celebration14-Nov-2019

Children's day in India is celebrated every year on 14th of November to increase the awareness of people towards the rights, care and education of children. Unison World School also celebrated Children’s Day with flair and frolic. An Inter House English Elocution Cum Fancy Dress Competition for the students of the Lower School was held. The students were placed in three groups and judged on presentation, voice modulation and coordination. They recited well and the competition was a success with the non-participants cheering on the individual participant of each House as she came onto the stage. Daffodil House bagged the overall first position, closely followed by Orchid House in the second position and Tulip House in the third place. In continuation, the staff put up a great show, not only singing and dancing on stage, individually or in groups, to the beats of Bollywood songs, but also displaying a plethora of energy and enthusiasm by individually acting their parts in a short English skit, which kept the students in splits of laughter. This was followed by a round of Antakshari between the staff and students which was a huge success. The celebration concluded with chocolate and fruity packs being distributed to the students followed by lunch.
