UWS IH BALL ROTATION AROUND THE BODY ( IN 30 SECONDS)04-Sep-2020

Continuing with the organisation of Online Inter House Sports competitions the ‘IH Ball Rotation Around the Body’ competition was organised for the students of Unison World School on Friday, 04 September, 2020. In this competition the participants were challenged to do maximum rotations of ball (Tennis Ball/Cricket Ball/Smiley Ball etc.) around the body using hands within a duration of 30 seconds. This event was organised in four categories and it saw neck to neck competition. Daffodil House emerged overall champions scoring a total of 620 points. Orchid House narrowly stood second with a total of 614 points while third place was bagged by Tulip House with 599 points and Jasmine house participants totalled 564 points to stand fourth. In Mini (V & VI) category Kaveesh Kaur Bhasin of Orchid house stood first with 54 points, Vanya Agarwal of Daffodil house stood second gaining 51 points and Saira Nidaan of Orchid House bagged the third place scoring 46 points. In Sub Junior (VII & VIII) category Gargi Agarwal of Tulip house stood first with 51 points, Tanisha Maheshwari also of Tulip House stood second gaining 46 points and Reni Shah of Jasmine House bagged the third place scoring 44 points. In Junior (IX & X) category Arna Singh of Daffodil house stood first with 56 points, Charvi Goyal of Tulip house stood second gaining 45 points and Navya Verma of Daffodil House bagged the third place scoring 44 points. In Seniors (XI & XII) category Ruchhika Agarwal of Daffodil house stood first with 49 points, Rishika Arora of Jasmine house stood second gaining 43 points and Anshika Agarwal of Daffodil house bagged the third place scoring 42 points. The Inter House sports event was successful in creating awareness among students about the important fitness aspect of coordination ability of upper limbs and speed endurance using a very simple and easy to do exercise.
