UWS Celebrates Hindi Diwas14-Sep-2020

Students of Unison World School enthusiastically celebrated ‘Hindi Diwas’ on 14th September, 2020, on Microsoft Teams during the online morning assembly as a mark of respect and acknowledgment of our official language Hindi. The celebration began with a prayer followed by choir singing, news recital and thought of the day, which spread the message of importance of Hindi usage in our lives. Later, students [grades V – XII] engaged in different activities that were organized over the course of the day. They recited poems of great Hindi literato’s; life teaching Doha’s of Saint Kabir were narrated; Chaupaiyaan of Saint Tulsidas was sung and last but not the least girls of the senior most classes showcased their skillful art by compiling pictures and contributions of great authors of Hindi literature in the form of a collage. The event was focused on making our students feel proud of one of the oldest languages of our country and to motivate them to speak in Hindi in public domains without any hesitation. This was accomplished by the large and enthusiastic participation of girls.
