74th Annual District Association Athletic Meet06-Nov-2022

Students from UWS made their presence felt at the 74th Annual District Association Athletic Meet held at RIMC, Dehradun on the 5th and 6th of November 2022 by securing 5 medals in one of the country's oldest meets held annually under the auspices of the Athletic Federation of India. This year, 35 schools competed in this prestigious meet. UWS was represented at the meet by a team of 20 athletes as well as the School Marching Contingent. Our students competed in a variety of Track and Field events. Navya Tantia won gold in the U-14 Shot Put, while Riya Shah and Jaivi Divitha won silver in the 400 M race and High Jump, respectively. Ratna Priya and Reni Shah won bronze medals in the 200 m and 800 m races, respectively. The School Marching Contingent of 43 students finished third in the March Past competition. The Commandant of RIMC felicitated all the winners.
