'Unison Group’ Contribution16-Apr-2020

'Unison Group' comprising the DIT UNIVERSITY, IMS UNISON and UNISON WORLD SCHOOL, have constantly been at the forefront in the fight against the pandemic Covid-19. In these trying times their contribution and empathy in helping the weaker section of society and those in need since the lockdown was announced by our honorable Prime Minister is worth a mention here. The 21 Lakh contribution from the Management and employees to the Chief Ministers’ Relief Fund, plus the distribution of: 1000 ration packets, unlimited hand sanitizers, antiseptic hand rub solutions prepared by the faculty of Pharmacy, 60 K Dettol soaps and safety kits to the destitute homes in and around Dehradun needs commendation. In an on-going process, a two-time meal distribution to 200 needy by the DIT University Alumni Association and regular sanitization of all three campuses continues on a day-to-day basis. There are regular health checks and awareness sessions of House-keeping staff. Maintaining Social Distancing in the hostel for those university students who could not go home due to the lockdown and awareness campaigns over social media platforms by DIT University students and Alumni continue. Online teaching using Microsoft Teams and LMS(MOODLE) Platform has been incorporated so that student learning is not affected during the pandemic.
